Finally, Hofesh Shechter is coming to Geneva! Spearhead of the new wave of contemporary dance, the Batsheva Dance Company-trained choreographer has imposed a powerful style and an aesthetically mind-blowing physical and almost tribal form of dancing. Make no mistake, his Grand Finale is a monumental piece, the reflection of a world in freefall to which he opposes a striking lust for life. To the haunting rhythm of waves of percussion performed live, his ten dancers throw themselves body and soul into an organic dance that combines tradition with sensuality and modernity. They lose control, embrace, shape and unshape the space with furious and contagious energy.
