Brave pirate kidnaps his great love in a lavish production by the Bolshoi Ballet. The pirate Conrad falls madly in love with the beautiful Medora, whom he catches sight of in a market. When the slave merchant Lankedem decides to sell Medora to the Pasha, Conrad unceremoniously kidnaps his beloved in order to save her.
