The “L’âge d’or” cabaret stands as a landmark for bandits and criminals in the 1920s.
Boris, a young fisherman, falls in love with Rita and follows her through the crowded streets of the city. Arriving in front of the cabaret, he realises she is the famous dancer Mademoiselle Margot – and that she is also wanted by the gangster Yaksha.
